Glove and Sleeve Units
Hanco's
glove and sleeve test units are designed for the ultimate in convenience, efficiency, and performance. The unit's versatility is unmatched.
  • The unit is equipped to test Class 00 thru Class 4.
  • The unit is equipped to test sleeves using either the Hammock Method or the Straight Dip Di-Electric Fluid Method.
  • Models are available with 2 to 28 test positions.
  • Double test units with a central control panel are available in a straight line formation or in a 90° configuration with the control panel in the corner.
  • Besides gloves and sleeves, our unit can test helmets, boots, hose, hoods, covers, and jumpers with appropriate test fixtures.
  • Portable pump/filtration systems are available for those using Di-Electric fluid for testing sleeves.
  • The units are completely wired and assembled at the factory and require only electrical, compressed air, and tap water to place into service.
  • The excess water discharge system is self priming and automatic. The drain hose can run to a floor drain in any desired location. No pumps, valves, or free fall pipes are required.
  • The units are built with the best available material for the given application.
  • An automated direct data acquisition system is optionally available with software for accurately measuring and recording voltage and milliamp leakage as required record keeping by OSHA.

Hose/Hood and Stick Testers
The units are available in front loading or top loading models.
  • These test units do not simulate electrical tests as portables do. Hanco units provide a full high voltage electrical test as required by OSHA.
  • Sticks can be tested wet or dry.
  • Stick testers are available in widths of 14 or 21 feet and can accommodate from one thru six units.
  • Hose test electrodes include an inside mandrel made of aluminum tubing and a fully hinged stainless steel outer cover whose inside is lined with felt.
  • Hood test electrodes are made of sponge material which completely fill all voids inside and outside of the hood or cover.
  • The v shaped groove holders hold the hoods in an upright position as well as hold the outside covers closed tightly on hose.
  • Test units are available for dedicated hose, stick or jumper testing. Combination test units are also available to test all of the above items in the same unit.

General:
These washing machines have been engineered to clean rubber goods, especially the extra long line hose. With a single door on the top of the cabinet, and single door access to the drum, loading line hose has never been easier. The large 46" x 46" blankets are also easier to load into the machine. Dual rinse cycles are standard on all washers.

 



  • Hanco manufactures dryers dedicated to gloves and sleeves in open or enclosed cabinets.
  • Models can dry 16, 32 or 48 gloves/sleeves in the open style or 12, or 50 gloves/sleeves in the enclosed model.
  • The glove/sleeve dryers contain built-in thermostatically controlled heating elements and forced air blowers which force heated air into the glove to assure finger tip drying.
  • Programmable microprocessor controlled tumble dryers are also available in 50 lb., 75 lb., and 120 lb. capacities for all rubber goods.
  • Hanco manufactures an automatic microprocessor controlled rotating basket style washer for all rubber goods which will easily accommodate 46" blankets and 78" line hose. The Hanco washer is manufactured with stainless steel and a 24" or 30" diameter by 8 ft. width basket with a single full access door. No need to bend or twist rubber goods to get them in or out of the basket.
  • Programmable microprocessor controlled tumble washers are also available in 60 lb., 100 lb., and 125 lb., capacities for all rubber goods.
  • Hanco supplies CRS Formula 515 liquid cleaner which is formulated especially for rubber protective equipment. The cleaner is non-hazardous, biodegradable and will not leave stains or residue.
  • Hanco supplies CRS Formula 516 coating beads which are used in the final rinse of the washing cycle. The beads leave no powder or residue and replace talc in making gloves/sleeves static free, sleek and shiny. Used Type 1 rubber goods are restored to factory freshness.

Hanco's automated dryers have been engineered to dry rubber goods, especially the extra long line hose. The racks are configured to allow maximum airflow around the rubber goods. With the Digital Control System, the machine is simple to operate. door interlock system will turn off heaters when the doors are opened. Exhaust fan will continue to operate after the doors are open to prevent hot air from spilling into the room.

Blanket Test Units.
Hanco's blanket test units are modular in design and offer total flexibility in setting up your test facility.

 

  • Blanket testers are available in models with 1 thru 4 drawers as well as an 8 drawer model with a center control panel.
    The unit is capable of testing Class 0 thru Class 4 blankets.
  • Models are available in 36" or 46" drawer sizes. Select the model based on the largest sized blanket in your system.
  • All drawers are mounted on ball bearing slides for effortless operation.
    Units are available with their own power/control panel or they can be operated by the glove test unit.
  • Electrode lifting mechanisms are operated pneumatically and take only seconds for changing electrodes.
  • Any size, class or style of blanket electrode can be used in any drawer. Electrodes are completely interchangeable.
    Electrodes are made from aluminum and set in ozone resistant material. The edges are smoothly rounded and are treated with special stress relief materials to control corona discharge.
  • Bottom electrodes index into the drawer with locator pins for positive alignment.
  • Load indicators on control panel confirm that each drawer is operating for the duration of the test.
